Ainslie (Wallis) Donaldson,Gavin Wernecke, Patricia Wilcocks, Angela (Young) Nicholas

Ainslie (Wallis) Donaldson –
After finishing Year 10 at Mundubbera, I set off to Ipswich Girls Grammar School for Years 11 and 12. In year 12, I was voted in prefect, which was a great honour and I also represented the school in Tennis. My boarding school days were very enjoyable (except for the food) and met some great friends, which we regularly keep in contact today.
After finishing Year 12 I set off for Brisbane, living in a house with a school friend. I enrolled into Lorraine Martin and did a Diploma in Office Administration. On completing my course, I worked for 2 ½ years in Brisbane with a Gem Merchant company.
In 1993, I married Scott Donaldson in Mundubbera and of course where else would you have your reception but the “Shire Hall”. I then moved to our new property “Coorong” which is between North Star and Warialda in New South Wales. On our property we grow Cereal Crops, Chickpeas and Sorghum. After settling into married life and a new area I took on a position with an Agricultural Consultancy team in Croppa Creek for three years, until we decided to start a family. We have 3 boys Sam (8), Jake (6), and Will (3). Life is quite busy with Sam and Jake attending North Star Public School and Will at a mobile preschool. Most of our weekends are taken up by traveling to many sporting events, which are usually an hour’s drive.
Hope you all have a great weekend and hope to will see you all at the next reunion.

Gavin Wernecke –
Gavin has been working since finishing school . He is an earth moving contractor. After his father passed away in late 2003, he moved to Clermont and worked some time. He then decided he wanted to take over the family earth moving business. Business is doing well for him and since has bought the property on Dykehead Road in November of 2005. On the 27th January of 2006, Gavin and partner Kellie welcomed the arrival of their daughter Ivy Rae Wernecke. Luke has now a little sister and thinks is the best thing since sliced bread!!!!

Patricia Wilcocks –
Was in Sydney for 9 years and worked in a pharmacy, now back in mundubbera at Zippy’s Foodstore.

Angela (Young) Nicholas –
I cannot believe it is 20 years since we all left year 10! I am married to Steve and have two lovely children: Ella Rose (4) and Henry Carter (6 months). We live in Yeronga, Brisbane and I am a full time mother, spending my time at Kindy (where Ella attends and I am President), doing craft, playgroup, children’s birthday parties, swimming and dance lessons (for the children of course!)
I am currently on maternity leave (for about 18 months) from my part time job as Client manager with the Investment Attraction team with the Queensland Department of State Development. Prior to moving to Brisbane about five years ago, Steve and I lived in Melbourne (3 years) and Canberra (5 years). We met in Canberra and were married in Toowoomba in January 1998. I also lived and worked in Singapore on a business exchange program in 2000. I studied at the university of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba (after year 12) and later at Monash University when we lived in Melbourne.
Steve (who is originally from Millmerran on the Darling Downs) is a Financial Planner working in the City.
