After leaving Mundubbera State School at the end of year six (1982) I attended Guardian Angels Catholic school on the Gold coast and then on to Star of the Sea College. I completed year 12 at St Michaels College on the Gold Coast. I went on to study and complete a Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Queensland Campus in Brisbane. I then moved to Cairns to complete my pre-registration year at a local pharmacy in Cairns for 12 months. I have had a fulfilling career in Pharmacy over the past 13 to 14 years and my last job was managing the Terry White Chemist at Robina on the Gold Coast. I married a wonderful man Jason in October 1999. Jason and his family own and run a popular Restaurant on the Gold Coast. In that time I have worked overseas in a London hospital and backpacked through Europe. The last three and a half years I have been a full time stay at home mum to our 3 ½ years old daughter, Makayla and son Ethan, 20 months.

In 1998 our son Douglas was born in Royal Women’s Hospital Brisbane. Douglas attended Mundubbera Pre-school in 2003.
